Medical Needling

say goodbye to stretch marks

Medical needling uses fast moving needles to penetrate deep into the epidermis and dermis layers of the skin. Multiple needles allow for large areas to be treated efficiently, resulting in shorter treatment times and more effective results.

The puncturing action of the needles triggers the bodies healing response and promotes collagen production, allowing stretch marks to heal in a way that is not possible with topical treatments or lasers.

During your treatment at Eden Skin, a serum containing vitamin D and vitamin A will be applied to your skin. The needling device pushes this serum deep into the skin, aiding the healing process.

The treated area will be covered with gauze and you will need to keep it clean and dry for 48 hours. Full aftercare instructions will be provided at your appointment.

Medical needling is also used in the treatment of scars in cases where further healing is required before camouflage tattooing can be carried out, or to improve the appearance of scars without tattooing.
